This workshop is a 3-day intensive therapy experience that investigates the origins of adult dysfunctional behaviors and addictions. In this life changing workshop, participants learn to identify and address childhood wounds which have fueled various addictions, depression, anxiety and relationship difficulties. The focus of this workshop is on healing the trauma (any less-than-nurturing childhood events).

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in the state of Minnesota. I have received a Masters of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. I received a Bachelors of Individualized Studies degree in Psychology, Business Management, and Communications from the University of Minnesota.
I practice from a systemic perspective believing that our relationships in life, both present and past, influence how we live our lives. I believe that we all live by a script which governs our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Understanding and deconstructing this script is important to our ability to live in a healthy, fulfilling way.
I have worked with a wide variety of clients - men, women, couples, adolescents, and families - all dealing with a wide variety of issues. Some of the issues I have experience working with are depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, spiritual issues, self-esteem, empowerment, sexual addiction, sexual perpetration, sexual victimization, incest, sibling abuse, 12-step programs, codependence, eating disorders as well as others.
I have trained with Pia Mellody from The Meadows Treatment Center on the Post-Induction Therapy model. This model of therapy has proven very effective in helping clients move through their difficult past experiences toward a more relational and healthy life. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which helps to decrease reactivity to negative messages and helps resolve trauma.
